电子机械乃是电气与机械领域的协同组合。此科系的核心课程主要集中在智能探测设备、开动机器或装置系统、微系统及控制策略的控制策略发展及整合。此科系的毕业生生将能掌握电气与电子(Electrical & Electronic)、机械(Mechanical)、操控(Control)及电脑系统设计(Computer Systems Design)的综合性知识。通过此科系，学生不仅能学习设计与控制机械人、设计机械人的感应器和举动、制造系及自动化统等等，也被灌输关于电机工程学生所应具备的技能如硬及软技能等以迎合市场上的要求。
