此科系的学习成果是产生拥有高度知识和熟练的电脑科学与讯息安 全(Security)技术相关领域的毕业生。毕业生将胜任先进的的知识和 技能，并能加以分析、设计、安装、配置、落实、管理、维持和监视有关安全设施(Computer Security Infrastructure)。学生有机会接触到 先进的学科，包括分析，设计和编制网络安全政策和立法上的物理 安全策略。毕业生将能够获得专业机构的认可，可以促进马来西亚 在未来几十年讯息技术基础设施、安全、社会和经济的发展。
